Overblue 44

The nautical UFO!

Floating second home? Not only since it’s classified as category B, you can travel to Corsica with it…

A motor catamaran with a 13.90-meter hull and a length of 15-meters including quarter deck, for a beam of 4.20-meters similar to a monohull’s one, she boasts extraordinary habitability, equivalent to that of a 60-foot One of the shipyard’s aims was to facilitate the issue of berthing. Designed on one level (with a very large fly).
A new style to live on the water, a royal and private double suite on the water worthy of a much larger cruise ship.

The boat’s navigation program is based on coastal navigation, with the possibility of offshore navigation such as a crossing between France and Corsica.
It’s aimed at buyers looking for maximum habitability and comfort (comfort similar to a 50/55-foot, but in a smaller boat), on a reasonable budget and requiring less maintenance.

It has a long range and consumes very little fuel.

It’s a very savvy boat.
The bow of the boat is rather unusual, but it houses a large double master cabin, with its own bathroom, balcony and large bay window: to enjoy it, simply raise the hood to access a vast bow balcony!
There’s another double cabin, a large lounge with convertible double bedding, dining area and kitchen, and a shower room in each cabin.
Finishes and samplings are of the highest quality, the interior volume is impressive and the design was created by a renowned Italian designer.

The fly is also very large, with the same surface area as the volume above the waterline. This makes maneuvering easier, especially in port. Access is via steps rather than a ladder, for greater comfort and safety.
There’s a dining area and a fully-equipped kitchen (fridge, sink with hot water, grill…). This is followed by an area dedicated to sunbathing and relaxation with the cockpit.

This boat is in category B (offshore): these boats are designed for offshore sailings during which winds can reach force 8 – established at 40 knots with gusts to about 52 knots – and waves a significant height of 4 meters, and a maximum of 8 meters.
