The classic ketch “SWASTIKA”, (its original name) was built in 1908 in England, in Rochester, Kent, based on designs by Frederick Shepherd. Since January 1, 2012, “Swastika” has been classified as a “Heritage Vessel” and by decree of the Ministry of Culture, dated February 27, 2014, “Swastika” is classified as a Historic Monument.
The name “Swastika,” comes from Sanskrit where it means happiness and prosperity. An ancient symbol of humanity, it represents the human at the center of the universe and is found in various cultures, including Hinduism and Buddhism. Its original meaning is positive and benevolent.
This fully renovated classic yacht will allow you to sail in the spirit of an early 20th century classic and experience the unique sensations that only such a rig can provide.
