BONIN Sloop

1931 Bonin Sloop of 17.8m with an incredible history

Commissioned in 1931 by Baron de Turckheim and named after his mother, ELLEN is an exceptional sailboat designed by architect Talma Bertrand, famous for his international rating rule yacht designs. Originally rigged as an auric yawl, ELLEN was transformed into a Marconi sloop in 1958.

After sailing the Atlantic, she joined the Mediterranean in the 1960s, where she is now based in Marseille. A family property since 1975 and registered as a Boat of Heritage Interest, ELLEN has participated in the major classic regattas of the Mediterranean for over forty years, while remaining a faithful companion for family cruising.

If you had dreamed of owning an exceptional sailboat, this dream can now become a reality.
