This very well-maintained Alpa 11.50 class 74, built and designed in Italy, is a sloop that combines optimal sailing performance with exceptional comfort thanks to its large cockpit. The sails are in excellent condition: mainsail with battens with a manual furling genoa (changed in 2021), as well as a symmetrical spinnaker and a storm jib on board. The engine, a 30-horsepower Midif Diesel, was replaced in 2002 and has 744 hours of operation (January 2025), with shaft drive and a 4-blade propeller. A Quicksilver inflatable dinghy with a 2020 TEMO electric motor is also included.
In terms of autonomy and energy balance, this sailboat is a good model of efficiency: the battery charger and the inverter were changed in 2021. Two 55W flexible solar panels and three service batteries, also replaced in 2021, ensure reliable power supply. LED lighting completes this high-performance setup.
